The website is hosted at Vercel. Content, product catalogue, enquiries and account information are stored in a database at Neon. Product photos and some attachments are stored at Vercel Blob.
If you just browse without signing in, we do not collect your name or email. Providers may receive technical logs (for example IP address) as part of operations and security.
Through the contact form, or an enquiry about a piece in the selection, you can send your name, email, phone (optional) and a message. If you go via the selection, the title and link to the piece are included automatically, so we know what the enquiry is about.
We only use this information to reply and follow up. We do not sell it on. Email is sent via Resend. Transfers outside the EEA happen under a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) where relevant.
Email to post@bmantikviteter.no (subject, content and attachments) is also received via Resend and handled in the admin area of the website.
If you send a message while signed out, and later create an account with the same email, the enquiry about a piece may appear under My account so you can follow the replies there.
You can create an account and sign in with Google, or with email and a one-time code. We do not use passwords for My account.
In My account we may store your first and last name, phone number and whether you prefer to be contacted by phone, favourites, enquiries and reply history, private prices we give you, and consent to the newsletter and to notifications when new pieces are listed.
The purpose is so you can follow enquiries, save favourites and get the notifications you agreed to. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in the email or under My account, and delete your account there.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for anonymised statistics on traffic and performance. This is cookieless and does not require a consent banner.
Analytics may also count a few actions on the site, for example that an enquiry was sent, that something was added to favourites, or that the newsletter was turned on or off. This is stored as anonymous statistics without names, emails or message content.
On the contact page you can choose to show a map of the shop via Google Maps. The map does not load until you click "Show map". Google may then receive technical information such as IP address and browser information, and set cookies or use local storage. The purpose is to show where the shop is. You can also open the address in Google Maps in a new tab without loading the embedded map. See Google's privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.
We only store what is needed for the website to work. Because we do not use consent-requiring marketing cookies, no cookie banner is shown.

Transfers outside the EEA happen under a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) where relevant.
Information is stored only as long as needed for its purpose, or as long as we are required to keep it. Agreed notifications and the newsletter are stored until you unsubscribe, delete your account under My account, or ask us to delete them.
We do not store more than we need to reply to you, run My account and send what you have asked for. Technical logs held by providers are deleted according to the provider's normal routines.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and in some cases data portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
